Looking for the right board

I have an AMD black edition 8 core processor that doesn't fit my current board. Does anybody know what specs I need to know to ensure that my processor fits in a board? Or can anybody tell me what boards that processor fits in?

it should fit in any board with an AM3+ socket. You'll want to make sure the board supports the CPU by visiting the manufacturers cpu support website.
I'm assuming this is an FX-8xxx series processor and not a server Opteron
