Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone can help me as this graphics card is driving me mad lol. So basically I bought a full setup to build myself of which I bought a msi h97 gaming 3 motherboard 750w ace atx psu and a msi twin frozr iii power edition 6950 and I can't figure where I'm going wrong with it.
It's plugged into the pcie x16 slot but it requires 2 x 6pin pcie cables. My psu has one of them and i bought a molex to 6pin pcie for the second one. The thing is when I connect the molex to 6pin and the other the card doesn't fully power and isn't recognised, when only one is connected the card fully powers but still isn't recognised :(
Can anyone help me?

Is this the PSU? http://a0.amlimg.com/ZDJkZjllNzJhYjczYzMxNGYzZDYxZDFlOGMxYWFmM2a0w8xZHA7c01CkYb0vrqjjaHR0cDovL21lZGlhLmFkc2ltZy5jb20vOTAyZWY3Y2UwNDJlYmMzZGJlNjY4ZmZiZDkxNTk5ZGJmNzk1MGI0NDYzNTdhNWUwMTUxYjY0NTQ4NTI5MTA3NS5qcGd8fHx8fHw3MDB4MzQ3fGh0dHA6Ly93d3cuYWR2ZXJ0cy5pZS9zdGF0aWMvaS93YXRlcm1hcmsucG5nfHx8.jpg
My guess is the PSU is the problem. Small +12V rail(s) for a 750W unit. And when a PSU only has 1 x 6 pin connector, that is usually a sign they don't want you running anything that needs more than that.

Minimum for that system with the old HD-6950 would be a 'real' 500W PSU. Depending on your budget, I have listed some Seasonic and XFX PSUs that fit the bill: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007657%20%204814%20%20600479294%2050001697%2050001669&IsNodeId=1
