I recently bought a new graphics card, a r9 480. After installing it, everything seemed fine. I went to AMD's website and downloaded the drivers, but after installing them my monitor would just go to a black screen, and then suddenly couldn't find a signal. When I fiddled around with the back of the computer, I could get the monitor to come on, but in safe mode, and wasn't able to access device manager.
Anyhow, I eventually took it somewhere to get "repaired", but when I brought it home the same issue persisted. I plugged my old monitor in, and it seems to work, for whatever reason, but my newer, better monitor won't.
Anyhow, if anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
