Hello,

I recently purchased a Reddragon K551 VARA RGB. When I plug it into my PC the RGB lights turn on, but Windows does not detect the keystrokes.

Basically, the keyboard turns on, but I cannot type.

I looked in Device Manager and found there was a USB device that said "device descriptor request failed" with error code 43

I have researched this for hours and cannot come up with a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
Never mind, I got this keyboard to work.

For those looking for a solution, what I did is this:

1. Open Device Manager. (Press Windows Key, type "Device Manager", press Enter)
2. Look for to "Universal Serial Bus controllers", and expand it (click the '>' button).
3. Look for "ND-tech USB adapter" created by the keyboard. (If there are more than one, reinsert they keyboard to see which one.)
4. Right-click on that and choose "Update Driver software"
5. Choose and click "Browse my computer for driver software."
6. Choose and click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
7. Choose "USB composite device" and click Next and proceed from there.
8. You should see two entries under Keyboards called "HID Keyboard Device"...

9. Congratulations. Enjoy your new keyboard.
