So, I'm building my first gaming pc. I currently have basically every part i need, except for the power supply. I'm on a tight budget of about $150 if i'm lucky ($90 if not) and i found one i think will do the trick and has good reviews but i never actually figured out how much wattage i need for my specific build. Basically what i'm asking for is help choosing a psu within my current budget and that will fit my builds needs. here are the specifications as they currently stand:

cpu: Intel Core i5-6600K @3.5ghz (not planning to overclock for a long time)
cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with either the stock fan or one of my two corsair air series sp120 high performance edition's
mobo: asus z170-e atx
RAM: corsair vengeance lpx 16gb (2 sticks of 8 kit)
gpu: MSI GTX 970

That's all going into an enermax ec3280a along with a hard drive from a decent but out of date laptop that can't keep up with my gaming needs.(alienware m14x r1 with a 2670qm cpu overclocked from 2.20ghz to 3.10ghz and a gt555m gpu for those of you who are curious)
the psu i mentioned earlier is the evga supernova 750 g1 80+ gold 750w.

Solution
750W is way oversized for your needs and the G1 is not the best unit.

take a look at
Seasonic M12II-620W, Seasonic G 550W, XFX XTR 550W, XFX TS gold 550W, EVGA Supernova G2 550W, EVGA Supernova GS 550W, Corsair RMx series
will still give you enough room to OC
