How many Watts do I need?

I'm getting a i5-6400 + RX 480 4GB. Will 430W be enough? The PSU is a XFX TS 430W

I used the Outervision calculator and it said I need 360W.

(16 hours a day, 1 x Standard Keyboard and mouse, 2x 2.0 USB, 2x Fan Controller Device, 2x 120mm fan)

Solution
When gaming that PC shouldn't go past 200W. Under full stress it won't go past 230W. Outervision stinks.

@Murat: No, he does not need to change his power supply at all. Calculators are terrible.

430 w sounds like plenty also, if you're only putting in one graphics card, one drive... 600 would be way too much, most people put in a lot more power than their machine actually needs. You might want the larger PSU for possible later upgrades, if you plan on putting in another graphics card and more drives for instance, but there's no reason for it now.

Calculator said you need 360W, 430W is way to low. Your PC need to take about 50-60% of PSU power. If you go with 430w, your pc will take more than 85%, it won't last long.

If I get a SDD + 1 TB HDD will I need more than 430?

AMD says it needs 500w. Do they exaggerate?

They said that the RX480 needs 500w minimum.

Now my question was rhetorical :) just think about it. You can't possibly think the only thing that requires power in your system is the GPU? The CPU, motherboard, hard drives, all that do. All that should be taken into account for a power supply. So how can AMD know your system. An I5-6400 requires a lot less power than an FX 9590. If the GPU is the same, how could power requirements be the same if there is one CPU that requires 4X the power of the other?

They don't, and they basically come up with stupid numbers. Nvidia does the same thing. So AMD and Nvidia's recommendations don't mean diddly squat :) they're worse than the calculators.

Oh, I see what you mean.
Is the XFX TS good quality? And will I be able to OC the RX 480? (probably won't, just curiosity)

Where I live the 6400 costs 182 and the 6500 costs 209. It's a lot and the difference is not that big.

It is well worth it. Trust me.
