I recently upgraded my motherboard, processor and RAM.
My computer is generally working fine since the update... however certain games have a nasty propensity to crash. Sometimes to full on BSOD. I'm worried that I may have gotten something from a bad batch of one of my new bits of hardware.
Trouble is...
I have no idea what.
I've tried mdsched and it says my RAM is ok, which suggests motherboard or processor. But... I can't exactly switch in a new processor to see if its the motherboard or processor that way which is the problem. Is there anyway to check this? Preferably without having to open up my computer again?
I have established from my computer before the upgrade:
Windows 10 64bit on a solid state hard disk with a second regular hard disk for virtual memory.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
and new:
Intel Core i5 6600K @ 3.50GHz
16.0GB 1511MHz ram
Asus Z170 PRO GAMING motherboard
