Quite a while back i bought a prebuilt gaming pc that was on sale it included 2x 8gb ram sticks wich for an i5 is a major overkill, now planning on buying a new budget pc but i still need my old pc to run an i was wondering if i can just pull the ram out of my mobo an normally start my pc is this possible?

If you pull all the DRAM, no it won't run, not sure what you are asking, are you thinking of swapping the DRAM between the rigs, using half the 16GB in each rig or what
