micro stutter certain games

Hello There,

Since a few weeks I am experiencing microstutter in some games I play, im talking about Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield 1 beta. I locked my fps at 60fps like I Always do with vsync, but the microstutters are real, I never had them before, only since 2 months orso, the fps stays at 60 and never drops lower. :(

Odd thing is, other games like DOOM, Witcher 3, Far cry primal are all working fine without microstutters. It's also worth noting that when I play Star Wars battlefront skirmish mode, I dont have microstutters, so it is only happening online, but I know my internet is fast enough.

I really dont know what to do anymore, I updated all my drivers, switched to both UTP cable and wifi adapter, defragment my hdd, reinstalled Origin and Battlefront.

It also only happens when I move my mouse around from left to right, but when I walk in a straight line without moving the mouse it's smooth as butter. So then I thought, well maybe it's my mouse, since I use a wireless usb mouse, but then again in other games I don't have it.

It can't be my pc either since I never had it before and my pc is anything but slow.
Temps of the cpu and gpu are fine both in 50/60c.

Specs of pc:
i7 4790
gtx 1070 FE
16gb ram (4x4)
2x 250gb ssd
1x 750gb hdd
antec vpf550w

I really don't know what to do anymore, anyone more suggestions? Would be appreciated!

Solution
I think I found out why battlefront is stuttering as it seems since last update in July when a hero comes on the field the game starts to get microstutter, when the hero is gone, the game runs smoothly again, I just tested it and indeed that is the issue.

So it's really a bug in the game, I expect Star Wars to get an update to fix this.

Battlefield 1 keeps running at 60fps with some minor stuttering, but it is still in beta stage so I think it's just part of the optimization of the game.
So everything seems fine now. Everyone thanks for your help, if I have anymore questions I let you guys know!

Well. That s a bit awkward why its Microstuttering you should be fine on that setup. The problem might be your power supply because the i7 4790 and Antec vpf 550w may not be enough for that setup. The GTX 1070 takes up a fair amount of power and 550W might be pushing it a bit. I am not 100% sure if thats the issue or not but if it is getting too high up in the Wattage it might start making performance of the hardware having negative effects. I would honestly just look some more if other people are having that issue or not and see if they found a solution. If not you might want to upgrade your power supply to like 650W or so just to make sure you don't have any wattage issues.

Hm, It might be something to do with Windows 10 if you have it. I have heard that people on Windows 10 have been getting some Microstutters. Honestly I would just check and see if other people are having this issue. Also if it is just all of a sudden it happens and never happened before it could be a driver I know you said that you updated them but check the sites for all of your drivers again it would most likely either be a Internet issue maybe check if something is up with your service provider or just look to see if theirs anyone else having the issue.
