Can my PC outperform an XB1/PS4 w/ a new GPU?

The Xbox One is so cheap right now, but I'd rather just upgrade my PC with a new GPU, even if it costs a little more than an Xbox One, since I have a large game library already on my PC and games are cheaper on PC. Can my PC equal or outperform an Xbox One with just a new GPU? Can add RAM or other small things if needed too.

Also, what GPU should I get? I'll probably wait until Black Friday sales to get one. If I have to buy an entire new rig, I'll just get an Xbox One. Thanks a bunch!

My Build:

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost)

MSI P67A-C43 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)

EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 560 Ti

P.S. I've heard about overclocking but don't know much about it. I do have this cooler for my CPU:

XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler LGA1150 Haswell Compatible

Your cpu is powerful enough to utilize a new gpu, so yes you can by far outperform a xbox one with a decent gpu. What would be your budget? In the 230 dollar range you can get an 4gb RX 480, in the 250 dollar range you can get a 6gb gtx 1060 , and for about $400 you can get a 1070. Any of those options would be vastly more powerful than a xbox one.

What psu do you have to be sure you can power a new gpu?

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a precise budget. The XB1 goes for around $250 now so I was going for around that range, though I may go a little higher for longevity if worth it. From those I'd probably shoot for the 1060.

My power supply is:
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

Would that be strong enough?

The 1060 is great choice, I would go for the 6gb model if you plan on playing the latest games at hgiher settings, the Battlefield 1 beta sits right around 3gb of vram in use on higher settings at 1080p. Yes that power supply is more than enough for any of the gpu's I mentioned.
