Alright so I need a second opinion on this build set so that I know if everything's compatible and will function properly.

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/kFQH2R

It puts a bit of a dent in my budget but since I don't plan on buying everything all at once (mainly because this is my first build and I want to make sure I have time to read up on manuals and things like that) it shouldn't be too bad. Any advice would be very appreciated

I changed your video card to something better and put a newer case and SSD.

My budget was pretty much what the build i posted is. I can't really afford anything more than that..keep in mind I'm not building a state of the art machine im just looking for something that plays games like Skyrim or Dishonored. Basic casual gaming really. Plus i'd rather the video card be nvidia since i know more about that than i do AMD

So no video editing or rendering/streaming? I can fit you will a better video card if you are OK wil a quad-thread i3.

I mean keep in mind I know a bare minimum about computers..the most advanced thing I've ever done is figure out how to restart Windows desktop manager and the wifi adapter in CMD so..i don't know a whole lot plus i'm not sure how mounting a micro ATX in an mid tower ATX would work

Okay you know what, after thinking about it for a while, and considering im working off of less than an hour of sleep at this point, I'm gonna stick with my original build until i can be more of a sound mind to actually look into this stuff. But thank you for your suggestions and I will take them more into consideration when i've had more sleep
