random shutdowns after adding new gpu

Hello! so this is my brand new build. everything in this build is absolutely new. i had it for about a month before sli-ing another GPU to my build to ensure everything was working properly. before it worked fabulous no random shutdowns. (there is no blue screen just straight to off) now i have added another 980 ti to my build and it ran great for about a week then its shutdown twice now. once under load of gaming and then just browsing the web. i have a 1000 EVGA 80 platinum PSU. could it be my power supply? or a doa GPU.

Hey everyone good news! to whom may care. i found it out after many hours of slaving over possibilities i was doing a stress test on my CPU. to make sure it was functioning properly, and realized my temps were incredibly high! after checking my watercooling for my CPU i came to realize that one of the back-plate screws had been stripped. causing the the pump to be just hovering slightly over my CPU . after cleaning off the old thermal paste and applying new im pround to say that my temps are back to 30 C. leaving all the crashing and shutdowns a thing of the past.
