I'm having A LOT of trouble deciding weather to start playing WoW or final fantasy a realm reborn.

I love how WoW has been going for a long time and still going but I've noticed a lot of people stopped playing WoW to go to final fantasy.

What I'm mostly looking for in a mmo is best graphics and population, where population matters more than graphics though, also a great story

ARR! Then Heavensward! Great graphics, awesome gameplay and a wonderful community. Sure theres trolls about but every game has them. Recently they introduced "The hall of the Novice" where mentors like myself who have several years of experience can guide new players along as they progress. Tons of content too, though it doesn't take that long to get through the original main scenario and into HW. SE is always finding new reasons for veterans like myself to run older content so it's never a big deal for new players to get it done.

Well, I'd personally recommend WoW. A lot of players have come back for Legion, and it's a great expansion so far with a lot of potential. They even give you a starting level 100 boost (cap is 110 right now), and a nice tutorial to teach you how to play.

There's pretty much an endless amount of stuff to do, especially for someone just geting in to the games; going through all the old quests and zones, exploring them all, doing old raids and dungeons, farming mounts and transmog gear, doing achievements, leveling characters... it just goes on and on.

There's a massive amount of servers; pvp, pvp-rp, pve-rp, pvp-rpg, and just your standard pve. You can still PVP on PVE servers, but only in PVP zones. Low, medium, and high population servers.

You have two factions to experience, Horde and Alliance, so if you get tired of one side you can go to the other. Lots of active guilds, especially now with Legion out and the new raids coming out.

New graphical settings as well this expansion. The graphics are cartoony and the environments are huge compared to your characters, but the enemies are cool and always different in every zone, raid, dungeon, etc. You have tons of professions to master, as well, along with Archeology to go digging around the world and gives you a reason to explore.

I do like exploration and I'm much more of a PVE player than a PVP.. So yes, Legion is out, but I'm the type of player that would like to work through the main game and then all the expansions, or would it be perfectly normal to start in some of the new expansions, I'm so confused of how this works :(

You can do either or. If you're concerned about lore, there's a lot of videos on YouTube to catch up new players to the Legion storyline. You can start your boosted character at 100, work through Legion to 110, do all the quests. Then you can go back and do all of the quests in all of the old expansions, or start a new character and work from the bottom up.

The beauty of it is that you can do it any way that you want really. If you prefer to start fresh with a level 1 and work up through Vanilla, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, and Draenor, you're perfectly welcome to. There's always great fun in doing this, reading all of the quests, and getting up on the lore yourself, plus getting all the funny little quirks of NPCs and quests. Like the funny fact there's a poop quest for every expansion lol.

WoW has really great humor, a lot of pop culture references too, tongue-in-cheek stuff. I've honestly never played Realm Reborn, but with WoW I honestly don't have time for another MMORPG, there's just so much to do all the time. You can have up to 12 characters per server, and 50 in total across whatever servers you choose to be on.

Forgot to mention, one of the biggest draws for me in ARR is the ability to multiclass. Your character can be any class, no need for alts. Many have all classes to 60, some like myself have say 1 of each tank, healer and dps with a specialty fully geared for raids etc. I haven't played WoW myself but ARR does have a free month and I do believe WoW has a free demo too. I have been meaning to try out the "competition", perhaps you should test them both out yourself!
