So I found a cheap H60 online here:

The product description is a little confusing, but I'm assuming that it means it's a new Corsair H60 without the fan, meaning I can get a aftermarket one for better performance and possibly cheaper overall. I found a new Noctua NF-f12 120mm for £14 off ebuyer. So would this fan give me better performance than a stock H60?

Also, the total for this with the Noctua if about £65, for a stock H60 it's around £68, however for a H75, I can also get it for £68, but would a single aftermarket cooler on a H60 offer better performance than a H75? Because i heard the push pull system of a H75 doesn't do that much more than a single fan.

I know it might sound dead obvious, that a H75 is better, but I'm at the point where i need to save as much money as possible, plus I doubt I need the tiny extra performance since my CPU (i5 4670k) isn't over-clocked, and i dont want 2 fans creating a ton of noise if it's not neccessary.

The H60 does not perform as well as an air cooler half its price.

Cooling is all about surface area, and the H60 has only a single small 120mm radiator, which is smaller than most air coolers. The reason it's expensive is that it needs to include a pump, tubing, and liquid, on top of just cooling surface. That pump also dumps heat into your loop which needs to be cooled by the radiator, in addition to just the CPU, and adds noise. The pump will eventually fail - I find they last 2-4 years - and you also have a risk of leaks.

In the same price range, either of these coolers would...

In the same price range, either of these coolers would be far superior than even most dual 120 or even dual 140mm AiO watercoolers.
