I recently got a horrible virus all I can do is login to my PC but once I'm in it's a black screen with a popup asking for a licence key that I can't even type in when I try to. So all I can do is try to reset it but for some reason there is no option to do so in the boot menu I also added a Windows 10 ISO file and it won't recognize the boot device! I've changed my hard drive to 3 different ones and the virus still persists!! Please help

Then I would just reinstall Windows entirely. Do you have another computer to create a Windows 10 USB stick? Make sure you wipe both the main drives before installing.

sounds to me like you got infected with Randsomware. when you install the drives, are you restoring them from a system image? My advice would be just to wipe both drives clean and reinstall windows, that, or you can pay the developer for the liscense key, which usualy is a very large sum of cash.

I tried using a system image but that didn't work because it wasn't recognized. But I put in a completely blank drive and the problem didn't go away. Can a virus affect any other components of a PC? (Motherboard, gpu...)
