Need help overclocking g3258 on GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H-A windows 10

Please help me, I have a GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H-A and a g3258. I specifically bought this to be overclocked but im having difficulty ocing. when i try and oc, my pc wont turn on and i have to reset my bios everytime so please help :D

Well the next question you asked is the downside. Such a high voltage will reduce life span, but by how much i'm not sure.

I tried setting it to 4.0ghz. what would be some good settings to test on this motherboard? I'm fairly new to overclocking and I'm pretty sure I did something wrong or I simply can't overclock on this motherboard :(

You cant push past 4.2 ghz at that voltage? Seems like you might of gotten a not so grand chip from the silicon lottery.

Yeah its really bad it has to be 1.360 for stable. What are the downsides of such a high voltage?
