Hey guys,
I've recently got the Deus EX game and a few other bits and pieces.

I've noticed my PC isn't quite up to scratch as it used to be. In terms of power/$$ ratio what would be my best option with my currently build:

intel i7 4770k
Zotac GeForce GTX 780
Kingston Hyper-X SSD 240GB
Seagate Gate 2TB HDD
GEIL POTENZA 16GB DDR3 (2x8gb)
ASUS Z87- PRO
AOC 24" (G2460PQU) 144hz
600w OCZ SXS2

Buy another 780? If this is an option will my PSU be ok with that?
Replace the 780 with a better card (Titan or something similar?) If so will i need to upgrade my GFX card?

I'm looking to upgrade for the least amount of $$

Thanks

Patrick

Yes, the GTX 1070 draws less power then the 780 but if you ever do decide on a second 1070 for SLI I would replace the PSU with a better quality 750W unit.

Thanks for your help i'm just looking at pricing up a 1070 or a 1080 now you seem to be in the know and i've never really had a great grasp on the difference between cards.

I'm looking overclockers.co.uk

There are some 1070 cards at £350 and some that are £470+ the technical aspects in terms of memory, core clock etc don't seem to change but its just the branding ?

Is that all it is ?
And is the £200-300 price difference between the 1070 and 1080 worth it ?

For picking a GPU I usually just go with whatever has good professional reviews and a good warranty. For me, being in the US, EVGA is my go-to company for Nvidia but it may be different for you based on what's available and shipping. The difference between companies is pretty minimal, some have better cooling, others have higher clock speeds but all in all it just translates to the cards running a few degrees Celsius or a few FPS difference.

You could go with either card, both will perform excellent @1080P//144hz but for price/performance the GTX 1070 would be the better card. I will say however that whichever card you get just make sure its *not* the reference fan design as it will run hot.
