Hey, I have an external hard drive that I use often to rip all of my music on to using EAC. However, just earlier today, whilst ripping a CD, EAC stopped responding and froze my whole laptop in the process. Therefore, I had to reset my laptop using the power button and when it eventually comes back on, my external harddrive makes unusual sounds and will not show up on my laptop to access.
Occasionally, it does show up if I leave it unplugged for a while and then plug it back in, but I can't access it and causes the cursor to change to the loading icon, for the drive to eventually disappear once again. I don't understand why this is happening. Any help would be great, thanks.
