I might not know everything about a computer but I know that I have to ask here because I do not know what to do here. In the time spent looking for components for my new computer I ran into something of a problem. The motherboard I'm going to buy says it supports 2400 MHz, 2133 MHz, 2800 MHz (O.C.), 2600 MHz (O.C.), 3000 MHz (O.C.), 3200 MHz (O.C.) and my RAM is 2666MHz, from what I have been able to understand the i7 6700k processor shouldn't have a problem running it so long as I fix something in the BIOS but having a more defined answer would be nice, seeing as most others were quite vague and did not help me a lot.

I don't know if the motherboard supports the ram or if there is a problem between both and the processor, some clarification would be highly appreciated.

Specs:
HyperX Fury 2666MHz 32GB (4x8GB)
MSI Z170-A Pro, Socket-1151
Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake Prosessor

Looking at that the supported ram goes up to the speed of 3200mhz am i sure that will be supported. To make the ram run at rated speed, timings and voltage do you have to go into the bios/uefi and set XMP to enabled and choose profile 1.
That "XMP" will be found under the OC section.
