Hi everyone,
First of all english isn't my mother tongue, i apologize for the upcoming mistakes,
So here's my problem: i used to have 90+ fps in this game (In modded version, more in vanilla) but since few day minecraft (modded AND vanilla) get laggy horribly, the game won't get over 30 fps and drop randomly to 10 or less fps, this happens only in minecraft, other game run well as usual (60+ in Arma 3 90+ in Overwtach etc...).
Here's my desktop's specs:
Screen: 1080p 60Hz
Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: i5-4690K 3.50GHz
GPU: NVidia GTX 970
RAM: 16 GB
HDD: 2 TB
Only use Java 64 bit
I formatted my PC 6 months ago and clean it often
Here's what i tried to fix it:
- Changed minecraft's options min to max (max to min, etc...), fps still have the same "issue" without any change (Vsync is off in minecraft AND in Nvidia Panel)
- Tried to allocate more RAM for the game, no improvement.
- Updated NVidia Drivers: fps came back to 90+ for like 5mins after the update and get back to 30 after.
- Uninstall - Reinstall Minecraft
- Uninstall - Reinstall Java 64 bit
- Checked if minecraft use the GPU for graphic, he actually use it correctly (+forced it in NVidia Panel)
- Checked for viruses, malware etc, no one found
- Uninstall - Reinstall NVidia Drivers
CPU / GPU / Ram usage are normal all the time
CPU / GPU heat are normal all the time
That's it, i don't have more idea at the moment,
