New Samsung 850 Pro not being recognized

I have an MSI GS60 and about a week ago my 840 Pro SSD did (I think). I bought a new 850 Pro and inserted it into the bay and it is not being recognized, ever after a restart. I inserted the original HDD that came with the PC and it mounted with a problem.

Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix this?

Note: This is not the M.2 drive with the OS. It is the 2.5" SATA storage drive.

Thanks

Does it appear in the BIOS? Probably.
Does it appear in Disk Management? Probably.
If so, it just needs to be initialized.

Open Disk Management, right click on that drive.
What options does it give you?

After searching I found that I have to format the drive in Disk Management. Thanks.
