How well will this run GTA 5?

Simple question.
I know it's not the best spec, it's literally a start up PC which I am going to upgrade but my friends play GTA 5 a lot and was wondering how well would I be able to run it with an i3 2100 with 8gb ram and a GTX 650 1gb? FPS and graphics quality would be great.
I'm asking this because I have seen many videos showing GTA with similar specs and it's a mixed response. Any replies would be great!

Not well, sorry to say. Your cpu is under min specs for gta v, it may run it but gta v does not like duel core cpu's expect stuttering and heavy frame rate drops anytime any physics related event happens, like crashing a car, explosions, or getting in a firefight. The gpu is not ideal either but is above min spec. I would guess sub 30fps at times on low settings 1080p, especially at day time in the city or desert. I doubt it will be that great of an experience.

Oh, ok. Not to worry. Ironic because I thought it was my GPU which was the worst component xD. I knew it wasn't the best rig for it. On game debate, it says that it wouldn't perform that bad on, say, 720p which I wouldn't mind playing it on. It is literally just something to use as I upgrade it so I am not overally bothered if it doesn't run on 1080p at medium settings for example.

Well the cpu is likely going to be your biggest bottleneck and it is not really concerned with resolution, lowering the resolution may help the gpu perfom better but the cpu will still struggle regardless of resolution. Well if your upgrading and already own or plan to buy gta v anyway, give it a shot might do okay but like I said that cpu may be an issue.

Ok, thanks for the advice and thanks for replying. Will buy GTA and give it a shot and if it barely runs then will definetely upgrade cpu first
