I cant like I said I don't recommend any gpu upgrades on prebuilts ? nothing is guaranteed to work allk you can do is read all the forums at hp to see whats been successful and working then take a risk on it if you feel its good enough then hope it was not a load of crap or end up looking at a black screen ..

all HP guarantees is it works as is, as you bought it ,out of its box ,from there factory , not a drop more

may read the reviews on a card like this one ? lot of prebuilt guys use them ? one guy said as well '' works great with non-UEFI motherboards '' if that was to be another issue you run in to ...
dude that's a HP prebuilt you may want to look your model up at hp forums to see if any aftermarket card will work in it at all first ..

some may not some may only use low pro/low power card some may only accept 600 series or below ..

hp and most prebuilts are proprietary and things aint so plug and play with them

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked or fixed'' bios and may not allow you to change certain hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warranty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you really need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work in your model first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. and a lot of guys here say ya ya ya when is really no no no...it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. then get told its your psu and you spend more and end up right back where you are now, but its up to you good luck..

you got to know the the boards in these computers are not like the ones we use to do custom builds witch are open to upgrading with in the boards compatibly . the bios is custom made for there design and just for the parts they authorize to be used on there computers there only guaranteed to work as is out of the box as you bought it ,..

also these boards do not have to meet atx standards and there pci-e slot power may not do the required 75w needed for most higher end cards and can be limited to say 45 or 60w that is all thats needed with the low end factory oem cards that it may of shipped with

good luck

examples

''Unfortunately, I don't know if a GTX750 will work. Some of the newer video cards are not compatible with the older BIOS' in PC's, such as yours''

'' bearing in mind that from what I read, folks are having a hard time finding third party P/S's that work. I don't know of any that have for that matter''

''you have the SFF model then you are limited to a 25 watt PCI-E x16 graphics card. You might be able to squeeze a litlle higher wattage from the slot but the 240 watt PSU will limit your choices. You will need a low profile card.

If you have the CMT model then you are limited to a 75 watt PCI-E x16 graphics card.
Do not buy a graphics card that is rated only for UEFI PCs.

A recent post on the internet indicated the the AMD R7 240 should work. It's a 30 watt card

''HP typically use proprietary power supplies in the business class PCs. If you can find a bigger PSU that will work then in theory a better graphics card should work. You might be treading on thin ice. I haven't seen a post out here indicating that someone was successful in doing so''

there you go ''treading on thin ice in doing so ''
