Can you put a ddr3 processor in a ddr4 motherboard? I was looking for a ddr4 MOBO put i wonder if I can put my i5 4460 processor with ddr3 in a ddr4 motherboard

No. DDR3 DIMMs won't fit in a DDR4 motherboard. The socket on DDR4 motherboards is different than your CPU.

For modern CPUs memory controller is built into the processor.
i5-4460 has only DDR3/DDR3L memory controller, it can't operate with any other memory type.
So there is no such thing possible as DDR4 motherboard for i5-4460.

And no - you can't fit ddr3 memory into ddr4 slot.

It's important to match the socket to the CPU. The i5 4460 uses socket 1150, and will only fit in motherboards with socket 1150.
