Every website works fine except reddit (some sort of DNS issue?)

Hello all, after days of trying to find a solution, I am still empty handed.

About a week ago, www.reddit.com randomly stopped working seamlessly. When I connect to it I get this error: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

It sometimes lets me connect, it will show the not connected page, then randomly refresh and connect. Other times I cannot get any connection for hours, entire days. I did not and do not use any malware or firewall programs, only the crappy default windows ones are on my pc (and I do not even use them)

Now before you tell me what to do, here is a list of what I already have done.

- Changed DNS server multiple times (To google public, to other Open Dns addresses, and even back to automatic to test)
- Checked my hosts file and there was nothing there
-Deleted web history
-flushed dns cache
-did all the other cmd fixes, such as ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew, the netsh winsock one
-restarted router and pc multiple times
-tried connecting in another browser, didnt work
-tried connecting on my phone, didnt work
-Other people I know are not having any problems at all
-tried disabling ipv6, doesnt work
-tried connecting in incognito mode
-tried tracert www.reddit.com and got "Unable to resolve target system name..." Same thing with the ping command
-Basically, if you can google it, I have tried it.

I am on ethernet and share a connection with my family, but they have little to no internet knowledge and there is almost no way one of them is the cause (unless they are inadvertently doing it)

No idea what the hell is going wrong, as I said, this happened literally randomly, no program changes that I am aware of or any weird downloads. Thanks for trying to help, if its even possible to fix this.

I'm not sure of the reason why this is happening, but have you tried using a VPN and tunnelling the DNS requests to connect to the site. Not the most convenient solution but it should make your browsing more secure.
