Ive recently fnished building my PC but I have one problem. I have no idea why, but the CPU cable that came with my power supply is insanely short. I need it about 5x longer to reach the top of my motherboard and i'm not sure how?

Heres a photo of the wire. I need an extension to this cable at least 30cm long: https://gyazo.com/0818ddba1762b498e8d5f68293573406

Any help? What could I do?

How are you running the cable through the case? I have the same case and a similar PSU with a 600mm cable. Your PSU has 700mm and should be plenty to run the cable straight up the back

Did you really mean that you need "5X longer" or did you mean 5" longer? The EPS12 cable should be 70-85cm long, makes it hard to believe that it could be "5X' too short. Unless there was a fabrication error and your unit got shipped with a cable missing the 70cm part of the EPS12 cable.

Nope sorry my mistake. I got 2 CPU cables and I thought one of them was a spare. It was acually an extension cable that came with the PSU. Everything works now :)
