Hi, i just finished upgrading my desktop (h8-1549) with an ssd. My problem is that when i turn on computer or have to restart for any reason all i get is the keyboard and mouse light blinking and nothing happening. Only way to access windows is for me to press f10 and go into BIOS. in BIOS i dont have to do anything, just hit exit without changes and windows starts up like nothing was ever wrong.

try to check your boot up settings, make sure you have you HDD on first boot. If that doesn't work, try to remove all the media devices such as cellphones and flashdrives, cd/dvd.

Arranging the boot order did solve part of the problem. For some reason i also had to change the keyboard to a new basic one with no usb port or lighting. When the original keyboard (steelseries merc stealth) is hooked up the computer wont boot up. All i get is the keyboard and mouse lights on and off. Although if using an other keyboard to start up computer then switching keyboard when windows is running there is no issue. I am assuming the usb port from the keyboard are causing problem with the boot order again. Do you have any idea on what i could do to fix this issue?

thank you
