Why does my screen have a blue tint all over it everything thats white is now blue the cables are all installed and i have all the latest drivers. How can I fix this?

Solution
Do you have another DVI - VGA adapter? If so, try swapping it. It's possible that there is a contact issue in either ends connectors.
What type of connection are you using for your monitor? Is it VGA (RGB)? If so, the most likely culprit is either the VGA cable, or one of the connections at either end. The blue tint is the result of a missing color (either Red or Green). Try checking the connections at both ends of the cable (monitor and graphics card), if you can't find a loose connection, you'll have to try a different cable. If this doesn't fix it, it could be something wrong with the video connector. You didn't mention what your new graphics card is, but if you are using VGA, it's a good bet that you are also using a DVI - VGA adapter. If so the adapter is possibly the source of the problem.

Im using the vga cable and it used to work fine on my old grahphic card AMD HD 6450 but since i got the HD 5450 my screen has a blue tint to it all the cables are conected fine so thats not the problem.

I wouldn't discount the cable yet. You could have been just lucky. Try moving the cable around at the connector ends (both ends) and see if the blue tint flickers on an off. If it does, you either have a connection issue or a cable issue. Are you using a DVI - VGA adapter?

I've seen this problem many times before, it's almost always a connection issue followed by a flaky cable. It's very rarely a card problem.
