Test lights say they are bad. Should I increase to 4 ? Go from 666mhz to 800 mhz or just get 2 or 4 th ones? Help me please.
I have adell optiplex 745 that has 4 slots but only.1gb 1x8 pc2-6400u-666-12-zz cards

What is your laptop used for ? OPERATING SYSTEM needs a specific amount to run . 1GB or RAM minimum for 32-bit versions of Windows 7.
2GB of RAM minimum for 64-bit versions of Windows 7.These mininum but I recommend going to 4 gb just to be safe .But when u start you will be crashing alot with 2 gb system Im in windows 7 and I have about 2 used up at boot up . and after a while that climbs to 3 .5 .
