ipibl-lb cpu support

I'm currently working on building a guest PC and I've been looking into what cpu support my mother board has. I'm considering buying the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 SLAFN 3.0GHz Quad Core Processor, it has 775 socket so it would fit. I just want to make sure it is compatible. This build is gonna be for light gaming such as CS:GO, Blood and Bacon etc. The current specs for it are Core duo e7400 2.8GHz ,8gb RAM ,NVIDIA 8400 GS, 650GB HDD. Also the motherboard is a ipibl-lb not sure if it is Asus or HP though. Would flashing my bios make it compatible? any guidance would be much appreciated. I know there is a cpu support list here http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01324212 ,but I want to know if the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 SLAFN 3.0GHz Quad Core Processor in specific is compatible with my motherboard.

I would say that CPU won't work. The supported CPUs are listed on the link you provided. A QXxxx is not one of your choices. There probably is no legitimate BIOS that will support it. That CPU is 135W according to Intel's website. The Q6600 is 105. 105 is probably ALL that motherboard can handle. I would stick with the Q6600 ....

it only supports 95W CPUs , not Extreme edition ones... it also supports 771 xeon CPU modding... latest you can install is Q9650

I have a Q9550 on it's way to me now and from my expertise I'm fairly certain the QXXXX processors are compatible with this motherboard. Documentation I've found supports this claim as a fact, but in practice we will see.

I can confirm 100% my Q9550 works in the IPIBL-LB motherboard as I'm typing this reply on that CPU now.
