I have a GTX 960 strix in my current build and I have a spare GTX 750, not 750ti btw.
It doesn't require any 6 pin connectors or anything and my current mobo doesn't support SLI, so I was wondering if I could use it in a different PCI port and use it as a dedicated PhysX card.
The mobo I have is a ASUS A88XM-A and it has only one 24 pin PCI-e port but does have 2 pci ports. Would I be able to throw this in that spare slot to run as a dedicated PhysX card?

Solution
PCIe and PCI are not the same thing. You have 1 PCIe slot, so one GPU only. If you look the slots are not designed the same either, there is a notch at the front of the PCIe slot and at the back of the PCI. This is to prevent putting the wrong type of card in it...same way they do it to make sure RAM is installed properly.

Probably a better question, will the 750 draw enough power from another PCI port to be a dedicated physX card or no. Should I just try it and see what happens?
