So ive been having this issue with my computer for awhile now. I can play titles like Minecraft, Ark Survival, Witcher 3, Warthunder, Dark Souls, No Mans Sky, and all MMO's with no issue whatsoever.

Once i try to play anything like Terraria, Battlefield 3 - 4 - 1, Dying Light, Titanfall. About 3-5 minutes into game play my computer locks up. Using MSI Afterburner i am not seeing any spikes in power draw or temperatures at the time of failure. During BF1 it peaks at 58 degrees celsius.

My display drivers are up to date and I have attempted also just bypasses my home router with no success.

I hope that someone how there has some suggestions for me. I appreciate your input.

EDIT: I have cycled through my RAM and made sure that none of my cpu cores were parked. No improvements

Thanks!

It's because of your FX-9590 - it's probably causing your VRMs to overheat. You can confirm this by temporarily disabling 2 cores. If the problem goes away with 2 cores disabled, then it's your VRMs. If that doesn't help, I would blame the PSU instead.

If it's the VRM's you could keep them cooler by installing some VRM heatsinks and by maximizing airflow going to them: https://www.amazon.com/Enzotech-MOS-C10-Forged-Copper-Heatsinks/dp/B004CL89D8/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1473034704&sr=1-3&keywords=VRM+heatsink

If you still experience lockups, you'll have to undervolt and/or underclock the CPU or disable 1-2 cores.
