i3 2120 vs xeon e5440 gaming with gtx 750 ti

The tittle says it all, what processor is better for gaming- xeon e5440 or i3 2120. GPU: gtx 750 ti.
I know about the ddr3 vs ddr2 memory, im talking about raw speeds: 2 cores/4threads 4 years ahead vs 4 core 4 threads.

I'd take the i3 2120 although it would depend mostly on what game you are playing. I think brute force with 2 cores is much better although some games will only play on quads now, although that is very rare. LOOKING AT YOU UBISOFT!
