Hey guys,
So when I've had my PC on for awhile, whether I'm gaming or doing work, my computer will randomly slow to a near halt and stutter very badly for a few minutes and then return to normal. While this stuttering happens I notice that my Disk use for my C: drive shoots all the way up to 100%. I don't think there is an overheating issue at all as my CPU and RAM use remain normal. Literally the only abnormality I can see is this incredibly high disk use, and it happens no matter what program or application I am running. Is this a page filing error? Is my drive dying? I've run the chkdisk /f /r command a couple of times to try and repair bad sectors but the problem persists.
Any help? Thanks.
