I was wondering if the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ST2000DM00, Was good for storing/playing games on. And using it for video editing programs such as sony vegas adobe after effects or photoshop (i know not a video edition program).

Solution
it will perform similar to a WD black with the black being slightly faster in benchmarks
the WD Black also comes usually with better warranty & higher reliability
but if that's really worth the price is up to you
I'm using my Seagate HDD for several years, got the OS and everything on it
so far I'm satisfied (4 years)

Is this drive as good as that drive, when that drive costs more for the same size, but has a longer warranty.

In the realm of your current use case, what leads you to believe that either drive would be faster or slower than the other?
