EVGA GTX 1070 FTW or Founders Edition

Hi, I have the Founders Edition, but a lot of my friends are telling to return that GPU and buy the FTW instead.

Is it worth it?..

I know that the FTW is 10 C cooler, but if I change the fan speed of the Founders Edition to 90% I get 10 C less too.

So, what do you recommend me?.

I would , better cooling , enhanced performance , OC potential is much better.

100% I would change.

Ditto, swap it out.
The FE has less than optimal thermals, and performance isn't as good.
I have a 1080 FTW and think it's probably one of the best 1080s on the market.
I had previously tried the MSI Gaming X and Asus Strix, as I run a PC store.

Let me ask you something, with 1080p, the GTX1080 can run The Division and Rise of Tomb Rider maxed out?.
Because with this 1070 I can't. I have to change a lot of settings to get 60 fps. For example Rise of Tomb Rider, from VERY HIGH to HIGH and FXAA

That sounds about right, although a little low.
What CPU do you have, and are your drivers up to date?
Rise of the Tomb Raider is DX12, and is very intensive, use a title like the Witcher as a reference point.

The game is maxed out using Nvidia HairWorks 8.

Min FPS that I saw was 63 FPS.

In Australia the 1080s cost between $1150-$1300.
If I shipped an EVGA FTW 1080 from the US to Australia it only cost $930 inc. shipping.
I bought a 1080 because I could afford it.

I don't think u should get the ftw as it has heating issues.
