Hey guys, I'm trying to throw together a budget build. I'm trying to decide between the AMD A4 3400 and the Phenom x4 9600. I have the hardware for both on hand, but i have to take all the parts out of the case to switch things. I'm currently using the phenom x4 paired with my R9 270, and I can't seem to keep RL from lagging, even with putting rendering on high performance [changing the filters don't change anything I'm assuming cause that's handled easily by my 270]. Is it worth switching to the A4 3400? Does the higher clock speed and DDR3 make up for losing two cores? Thanks.
