I have an i5-4590 with a stock cooler. My temperatures are spiking up to 90 degrees Celsius while playing gta 5. I'm pretty sure its the cpu cooler that's the problem.

Yeah, stock CPU coolers aren't all great. I'd advise a CRYORIG C7 I believe, and some new thermalpaste. C7 can be made a closed loop water cooler or high profile fan IF your case is wide enough to handle those dimensions.

Depending on which, it should drop the temps by a good amount at least.

I had my eye on the H7. How does that compare to the C7?
