hello, recently my pc started shutting down and its becoming a common thing now its really frustrating, any help on what the problem maybe?
My pc specs are
- GTX 970 4GB
-AMD FX-8320 CPU 3.50GHz
-8gb DDR3-1866 RAM
-Corsair CX750w
everything is up to date and my temps average around 20-40 degrees once i start a graphically intense game they rush up to my core temp being around 50 -60 degrees. once all that has happened im playing for a bit and everything shuts off completely. any help is much appreciated, thanks.

50-60 isn't a thermal shutoff limit, 80-90 would be.
Can you not monitor the temps the second before it shuts itself down? What are they then?

I would perform independent stress tests of both the CPU and GPU using Prime95 and Furmark.
Run the CPU first, then GPU, then run both at the same time while monitoring the temperatures.

If it only shuts down when both tests are running at the same time, and your temperatures are fine - it points to your power supply not delivering enough power for the components to run.
