Hello. I would like to ask that what do you think about my configuration idea.
I have 2500k (4.5ghz 1,355v) with sapphire 7770 right now. My psu is only 550w chieftec and i would like to upgrade my vga because i feel this too weak for this CPU. My idea is a sapphire 280x toxic, my Friend said that would be great. But i know my PSU is weak. And i gonna buy a "seasonic s12II- 520" because i found this with good price. (used component)
What do you think about it? Is it good pairing? (cpu-vga)

Im using it for gaming (bf4, bf1, csgo, lol, overwatch)

Ram: 8GB 1800mhz corsair
Mobo: p8p67 deluxe

Sorry for my newbie eng. Im practicing when i can :)

Best regards.

Solution
the 2500K will be fine even for GTX 1070 on 1440p monitor.
So yes, with this new PSU you are good to go, though you might want to re-think the R9 280x unless you get it really cheap.

Yeah, i can get them for really good price. Thank you for your answer :)

even at $150-200 you can get a much faster/better card still with or above 3GB of VRAM.

for $50 more i would much rather have a brand new latest generation GPU, like the 3GB GTX 1060 or the 4GB RX 470, than any used older gen.

but at or just below $150 the 4GB RX 460 is still even a better card.

"cheap" for a used 280X would be more like $50-75.
