MERGED QUESTION
Question from Darkories : "looking for a PSU plz help"

M8, it's not the Kraken, it's the asetek. they make the AiO for most of the brands like NZXT, Corsair, Arctic and many others.
you can't compare them to systems made by swiftech, alphacool and EKWB.
Have you taken one apart ? I did. it's a complete crap.
It's like comparing hyundai i30 to audi a4.

Sorry, but I have to respond to your comments n0ns3ns3

So you are saying that NZXT ,Corsair, Arctic and many others are crap yet many thousands of units have been sold with many good reviews. If they were crap, surely the many good reviews would have been debunked by now. I have had experience with the Kraken X61 and Corsair H100-H115 Series and they are not crap as you put it. If the unit does its job for the life of the system then that's not crap.

Don't forget EKWB have had their fair share of problems too during development.

I would like to see some technical engineering data showing that the materials or construction of the above so called crap (hence inferior) product be put forward to ease my mind. I hate to have crap in my system. lol and I must admit to never having to take one apart. As with any hardware components, you can buy a lemon.

I have also read some negative reviews for Swiftech H220.
I do like the look of H220X with it being an open loop system. They may appeal to those who wish to have an open loop or expand the loop for cooling a GPU as well. I doubt however that would work efficiently and commentary suggests the pump would not be powerful enough.

Peace be with you Bro

that's a nice tear down :)
If you look at standard D5 or DDC pumps (most commonly used in custom loops) and how much flow/head pressure they can do, you will see the difference.
They are also made of materials that allow much longer and quieter operation.
Another thing is radiators - the Swiftech and EK are making theirs from copper. the ones in those CLC are made mostly of aluminum. In fact, some coolers by asetek are made completely of aluminum - both cold plate and radiator.
On the same channel, you can find the latest review of the of the 1080 FTW Hydro and how adding memory to the cooling affects the cooling performance.
back to our analogy hyundai i30 vs audi A3 (sedan). Both have about the same space, both help you to get from A to B. but there is a huge difference between them. now imagine that the audi is priced the same as hyundai.
While you are right that those kits do the job and do it quite well. But since the prices of kits from Swiftech and Alphacool got to the same level - they are a clearly better performers (temperature to noise). not to mention expandability, option to swap/replace components.
That's the reason I call the CLC from asetek crap. only relatively to those. on it's own in a vacuum, they are kinda fine and nice.
