Gtx 1060 but VGA Monitor

Hello i will be ordering this gpu :

But my monitor has a VGA port only.

and a regular VGA cable : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ugreen-Digital-Plated-Support-Projector/dp/B00B2HP8AW/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1473072152&sr=8-17&keywords=vga+cable+male+to+male

Would I be able to use my monitor normally with the 1060?
I want to avoid using a displayport to vga because the converters are expensive as they have to be active.

Can you confirm if this is fine please?
And the vga cable doesn't have to be anything special right? I can just use a regular male to male vga cable?

It may work but the image is for another product. Can't really say for sure.

The given image is a HDMI to VGA converter,, but one of the user reviewed about it and assured it is an D.port to VGA converter
