Hi,

I am looking for a new PC build, focused for gaming (don't care about VR) around $1500.

What do you think: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/FhRDqk

CPU
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler
be quiet! Dark Rock 3 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard
ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K6+ ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Video Card
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Xtreme Gaming Video Card
Case
Fractal Design Define S w/Window ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply
SeaSonic Snow Silent 750W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I have mixed feelings about the new Intel’s refreshed CPU.
As for the GPU, an 1070 (potentially with a second SLI in the future) is better than an 1080 ?

Thank you for your feedback.

This looks like a very solid build. You will be very happy with it. Tbh in my opinion I would rather go for the 1080 (or 1070 single and upgrade it some time later) than take 1070 and put it in SLI later, because not every game supports SLI. Would be a shame if you can only use your 2nd graphics card for 50% of your applications. What exactly do you mean with 'mixed feelings' about the cpu?

Looks nice. I would stay with skylake personally. And what do you mean is a 1070 better than a 1080? The 1080 is more powerful so it is better than a 1070 in that sense, If you are asking which has better value for what you're paying I would say the 1070.

1070 SLI performs on par with a 1080 in most titles, edging it out in a few others.
@superninja, cooler is WAAY overkill, graphics card sounds like a hurricane on your desk and suffers from thermal throttling, and the PSU is just.....no. Way overpriced.
You can get a great quality gold offering for $80, Titanium rating is just completely irrelevant in terms of reasonably priced builds.
Get this build OP, also do you need a 1440p 144hz monitor?
Do you have a separate budget for that?
In case you're wondering, the 750w RMx was $5 more than the G2 550w, and I wanted to get you a good modular PSU that would make your build as clean as possible and easier to handle, so I went the extra little bit. ;)
Still in budget anyway.

Go Skylake, it is generally cheaper and performs about 10% better across the board while keeping temps lower.
No reason to go Haswell unless you're on a budget and want to carry over DDR3 RAM, or have existing components.
See my build above, if someone can beat it for value i'll sell my left kidney on the black market. ^.^
Edit: PSU change has been justified, so that's exempt from the kidney rule. :p
