Hello whoever is kind enough to answer this question. I have a short amount of cash and I'm trying to get a GTX 1060 because I found out it is only a little more than my first option which was to get a GTX 960 and I would like help to find the cheapest possible GTX 1060. I don't mind using refurbished parts or used in good condition. Please help :)
ALSO
I want to get the 3GB version for the price and I don't want an AMD card due to no shadowplay

Hi,

I am in the market for a new gpu as well and from what i have seen and what you was looking at being a 960 the 970 is closer to 1060 price, you can pick up a high end evga ftw+ 970 for 199.99. As for 1060s the cheaper ones are tiny and only have 3gb vrams and from what i have learnt the cheaper 6gb 1060s tend to have reference designs with crappy coolers, the after market ones that i have seen start at around 260-300.

There is also a 980 TI MSI matrix 6gb going for 335 pound at the moment too.

How much cash do you have for your budget?

If there were refurbished GTX1060 so early in its life cycle, I would stay away from that model, new, used or refurb. Used units would be similarly few and far in-between, which begs the question: why would someone want to get rid of it so soon?

If you really want a use GTX1060, it'll be a while before the second-hand supply becomes more than a slow drip.

For that money i personally would not touch them 3gb 1060's and it seems the decent ones are out of your budget. I also wont touch AMD cards with a barge pole too many previous issues has put me off them but don't let that stop you Sapphire are pretty good.

Your looking at comparing these and seeing which ones faster and more longer lasting.

For the price of the 970 I could probably get a GTX 1060 because of the minimal price difference of about £5 on that same website.

But Like i said before I'm on a tight budget and I only have a 500w PSU that only has a 6-pin for the gpu.
Also I wouldn't really mind because with my current card (750Ti) I can barely get 60fps solid on most triple A titles like BF, COD, and others like that. Also I will only ever be using a 1080p monitor with 60Hz so as long as most games can manage over 60fps with decent setting then I'm good.

Also the 6gb model only has a 5-8 fps difference at 1080p on most games.

that's an awesome deal.
