hi, i built a low-mid level custom gaming pc, i originally bought only 2x4GB ram sticks @ DDR3 1600MHZ speeds for my new pc.
how ever, i also still have my older ram sticks that are 2x2GB @ DDR3 1333MHZ speeds.
i understand that if i mix these two ram sticks together, then my ram with the faster speed will lower its speed to match the slower ram sticks.
so should i use the 2x4GB sticks for a total of 8GB DRR3 1600MHZ ..or..use all 4 of my sticks for a total of 12GB DDR3 @ 1333MHZ?

core i5 quad core cpu
GTX geforce 960 SSC
b85m gaming mobo
1 TB hard drive
