yes teh board is good adn it will fit in teh case.
ofcourse you want both an ssd and hdd.

im going with the i7-6700 non k version, but on the gigabyte ga-150m-ds3h i have some questions. this is a better mobo tban asus z170 deluxw ? i read some reviews on the asus from 2015 and it was stated as being a decent board but there was also a list of issues .Ill go with the gigabyte board but am wondering about the fact its a micro atx ,being installed in a full size case .apparently this board is forward and backward compatable ,

These days, if you are not overclocking, the motherboard is basically meaningles as they are all good and perform the same. Soo you shoudl get the cheapest that has teh features one would need: an M.2 slot and 4 RAM slots and the GB has those.
Ofcourse, you may desire higher end audio, or some other extra features, in which case i recommend the Asus z170-PRO. As a bonus, Asus also have awesome fan control in their firmware.
All that being said, any MB with a non-overclocking PCU will perfrom almost exactly the same.
