Hello, my laptop graphic card is Nvidia Geforce 820M, but laptop has also integrated Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600... So i have a problem, I've been playing Gta V with low graphics and it was lagging but it was working, but i stopped playing it for like a month, but yesterday i opened the game just for fun and suddenly after few mins playing bright color lasers appeared in game, like a lot of them going all directions, i immediately turned the game off and restarted computer and i thought its just simple problem, but today i was browsing web, watching movie but not playing any games and computer had no problems running it simple tasks, but when i opened another game(which doesnt require good gpu), those lasers where there, so i thought my gpu broke. I disabled my Geforce 820M and run game only using integrated card and there were no laser lines it was kinda working. So i need an answer is it that my Geforce burned down or there seems to be some sort of other problem. At first i thought that problem might be with electric installation in the dorm room im currently in,because the outlets are horrible here but i think thats stupid but worth a mention. Also can it be that my drivers became out of date?

If your drivers are out of date, then definitely update them. It could be a loose wire connecting your monitor to the motherboard of the laptop. (Maybe you got lucky when switching gpus). I've never heard of a laptop gpu frying. If you plan on continuing to game on a laptop, I'd reccomend this: https://www.amazon.com/Alienware-9R7XN-Graphics-Amplifier/dp/B00PCJXN0I Hope this helps :)

I think, your gpu runs hot, its probably not broken! Try to clean the computer from dust, clean the vents and so on. And if I was you, I wud put some new thermal paste on the gpu. Google your way how to! And after that a cooling pad, would be great! GL my friend!

It's not a loose connection, just a stupid idea lol. Definitely update your drivers. Is v-sync on in your games?

P.s.
I remember one time my pc accidently hit a corner when i was carrying it and it slightly broke cooling fan, but i fixed it , it was slightly hitting the walls when spinning, i fixed it with knife and it seemed to be working. So maybe after time it kinda unbalanced again and it wasnt cooling the whole computer and it overheated the gpu. Then it means its burnt, but anyway thanks for answer.

It can be a loose connection tho, I for once had that problem. Was working fine with intels gpu, and showed wierd lines when usin nvidia. I popped the computer opened and snapped back the ribbon cable. But I dont know I changed Thermal paste aswell, and got rid of the dust aswell, so it could have been that problem aswell.

You can try to "re-cool" it again, it might work. Like i said, open it up clean it and change thermal paste. I don't think it's fried. Just overheating.

Then i think i'll have to go to nearest computer fix place and tell them about it so they could clean it and put thermal paste on and check if its not fried.

Hmm, yeah but they probably gonna charge you quite alot, or even say they "can't" fix it, and recommend you a new computer. But you do what you want! =D Anyways, you can always google your way how to open your computer! And youtube have great guides! GL mate!
