I am very worried about this problem because it makes no sense to me. I have an EVGA 650W P2, and when I put it in the power tester thing, the fan spins. When I connect the motherboard cord to the motherboard, the PSU's fan does not spin. I tried with my other PSU (Seasonic 620W) and the same thing happened, so I know it isn't the PSU. Here is the weird thing that makes me not 100% sure it is a motherboard issue. When I turn on the PSU, the Power LED light on the motherboard turns on. How can the motherboard not get power to turn on the PSU fan, but get power to turn on the LED. And yes, ECO Mode is off and the PSU is plugged in. Could my Motherboard intake be faulty?
