Looking to buy that card!

Can it run most games in high-ultra 1920x1080 1080p 60fps?

Games such as , MGSTPP - Witcher3 - DeusExMD - Dying Light etc

I have an i7-920 @ 2.66 ghz , 8gb of ram and an asus p6td deluxe mobo!

I can't say for Metal Gear because that game is generally not benchmarked and I don't have it. However, for W3 it will run it at 1080p on high quality 60fps with no problem, no Hair Works (I have two of these cards in SLI and overclocked for a 1440p monitor). It can be overclocked without even sweating to 980 performance. DuesEx, no. That's the new Crysis and a GPU killer: http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?ct=articles&action=file&id=25205

The 970s new are getting harder and harder to find. With that said, I would seriously consider getting a 6GB GTX 1060 for roughly the same money ($250USD) as it is about as fast at a 980. Depending on the nation you live in of course...in America, they are about the same price.

VRAM demand in games is...

VRAM demand in games is only going up, even at 1080p. If I were buying a new GPU today, I would not settle for anything less than 6GB VRAM for staying ahead of the curve over the next few years.
