EDIT: Added details on restarts.

Recently, my computer has started shutting down when I play more graphically intensive stuff such as video games like Battlefield 1 and 3, and Rust. Thing is, this never happened before. The last time I played Battlefield 3 nearly a year ago, the computer could handle it without any problems.

--Symptoms--
Instant shutdowns during graphically intensive gaming (Battlefield 3 and Rust) only recently - Last time I played the game a year ago, there was no problem. This means my hardware should be capable of handling the game. I would play the game for some time ranging from a minute to maybe ten minutes before the shut downs occur.

After shutdown during turn on attempt, computer will turn on then instantly turning off following shutdown . - Sometimes, after the aforementioned shutdowns, when I try to turn on the computer, it would turn on then back off an instant later.

Sometimes, computer restarts automatically

No problems during regular use i.e. web browsing, document processing, and light CAD work - Problems only occur while playing games like Battlefield 3 or Rust.

--Cause?--

I suspect my power supply is having problems. So when I doing really intensive stuff, the computer is drawing more power and somehow, it is no longer capable of providing this power stably and the crashes result.

Is this a correct diagnosis? Is my best bet to get a new PSU?

Thanks

Reviews of that PSU look ok so its not like its a low quality unit. However PSU components do deteriorate over time with use. You didn't state your gpu but if its relatively power hungry it would make the likelihood of the PSU being the problem even greater. If its not the PSU I'm an not sure what it would be as the symptoms do make me suspect PSU but I cannot say for definite that's what its is. Can you try another PSU even if it means borrowing one from someone?

Processor: Intel i5-4690K @ 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5
BIOS: American MEgatrends Inc. F5, 5/30/2014 (Going to update to F7 just incase)
Power Supply: OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS
RAM: 2x G.Skill F3-2400C9D-8GTXD
Operating System: 10.0.14393 Build 14393

Again, this setup has previously not had any problems when running these programs (well not Rust since i didn't have it back then).

Note: edit to original post. Computer sometimes automatically restarts.
